This a sweet little homegrown museum about the heritage of the area. It is housed in the old monastery building of St. Joseph seminary, where young men with a vocation would spend a year in study and silent contemplation before entering seminary school and continuing their journey to a life of relicious service. It's all volunteer run and everything is on loan. The tour guides are knowledgeable and passionate and love sharing stories. It is open the first sunday of the month 12:30-4pm april-november or by appointment for groups. There's a little bit of something for everybody here, whether it's catholic history, farm equipment, genealogy and the evolution of a small town with strong german roots.
